What happens when my membership lapses?

How does the free trial work?
Download the app and you're in a 14-day full trial — every feature,
no signup, no credit card. After 14 days, exports pause until you add
a license; capture, redaction, and everything on-device keeps working
so nothing you've done is lost.
Is my data processed on-device?
Yes — entirely. PII detection, redaction, and editing all run locally
on your Mac. Screenproof has no cloud pipeline, no analysis service,
and no account system. Your screenshots never leave the machine
unless you export them somewhere.
How do I deploy this to a managed fleet?
One signed PKG plus a managed-preferences profile in the
app.screenproof domain — the standard custom-settings
mechanism every macOS MDM supports. Step-by-step guides for Mosyle,
Jamf, Kandji, Intune, and Addigy live in the
Admin KB, and the
Profile Creator builds the
